Defining Passion

According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, Passion is, A: ardent affection : love B : a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept C : sexual desire D : an object of desire or deep interest.
The passion I’m speaking of consist of definitions A,B and D. C if you’re going into the adult industry. Nothing wrong with that if that’s your passion. I’ve thought about it but I think I’m only passionate about it in the privacy of my own bedroom. But seriously, what is your passion? Is it baking, fishing, sewing, or laziness?
One thing to help you figure this out, and I know it might sound a little high schoolish, but take one of those career quizzes. Although I already know what I want to do, I took the quiz at www.dreamit-doit.com and it was dead-on accurate. Other websites with fun test or quizzes are: myfuture.com, careerpath.com, and careertest.net. You can also do a simple search on google for “aptitude test” or “career quiz”. These tests were entertaining, fun, and accurate; especially if you are unsure of what it is you would be interested in. You could get a lot of ideas to brainstorm through. After you get some career ideas, discuss them with your friends or family and see what they feel would be a good match for you. In the end, it’s your decision, but it doesn’t hurt to get opinions from others who have a different perspective of you than you may have of yourself.
Another way to start may be to think of things that make you happy and see if there’s any way you can make a career out of it. With the internet growing and things changing and evolving, there’s sure to be a way for you and your new career. I’m also available for an opinion or two if you email me! Also try snooping around. Yeah, sounds weird, I know. But have you ever thought about talking to others on the net about what they do and how they got into it? Ask a relative or a friend if you can come to their job for a couple of hours just to see if it would be something you would be interested in. Nothing like being up close and personal… hey… that’s a movie title! Did you happen to see it? Heard it was good. Anyway, finding your passion might take a little work, but in the end it will be worth it. Go out and claim your passion! I feel better already, writing for you awesome people. I’m enjoying the fact that someone is actually reading my writings and sincerely hope that at least a few of you are finding this to be helpful. That’s another thing about passion. At the end of the day, you feel worthy because not only are you doing something that you enjoy, but others are benefiting from it. Makes you feel like you’re not just another moving dot on the face of the universe but more so like a contributor. This morning I left for work (at the bank) with tears in my eyes and trust me, they were not tears of joy. Tonight I’m ending my day with a smile on my face 
